The next day I was excited and got fast to the north of The Netherlands. There was one quit interesting ride from an ex-prostitute. She was really scared to take someone in the car, but I convinced her nothing bad will happen and she 'took the risk'. At the end she told a lot about her life and we had a nice laugh. By that time it was in the middle of the night I got out, so I had to sleep a couple of hours next to the highway, unpleasant to say the least.
The day after I got into Germany, where at some place it's allowed to drive as fast as you want. There just over Hamburg I met Martin who went to an island called 'Bergen auf Rügen' and he told me I could take the ferry there to Sweden and then go to Denmark from there, so I did. He was really nice, bought me some groceries and showed really cool places on the Island. I stayed there for a couple of days, figuring out how to get to the ferry, got to meet German people and experienced a crazy night.
I was sleeping at an isolated place where Martin had dropped me and he told me he would pick me up there the next morning. Thinking I was all alone I went to sleep but that night I awoke with some loud bangs near my tent (fireworks, didn't knew it at the moment) so I ran out and saw some people close to the sea. I waited for them to leave and got away as fast as possible, couldn't understand it. Next day I met with Martin again and we went back to the spot to see the the remaings of some firecrackers.
Later on I took the ferry to arrive in Trelleborg, Sweden, and got a ride to a town a bit further called Malmö. The following day I would meet another hitchhiker and together we got a ride to Copenhagen. He came from Spain but he was in a hurry to go home again, so we got our own way. After hours of waiting I finally got a ride to a small village up North, Kalundborg. She told me I could take a ferry to go to Utland, the land above Germany, but I had to take two ferries to get there, the first one to a little Island called Samsø.
By this coincidence I ended up on Samsø. and just at the time I arrived there was a small festival about to start. I asked if they needed any help building up the festival and the following day I got on the voluntary team.
