WEEK 6

660 km

Sooo after another day of hanging out with the familly they decided to drive with me to Budapest and drop me after the city so I'm on a good direction for going to Croatia, at least that was the plan. The next morning we drove to Budapest with their rather old car which wasn't used to drive long distances and just before reaching the city the car broke down, something with overheating due to the heatwave. This is a screenshot from my ipod (language = dutch) --------------->

<---------------
I was left on a road where everybody goes in to Budapest and tried to find someone who went around it or anywhere else but couldn't find anyone. I'm not so fond of big cities and I thaught it wasn't the best idea to enter a big city with not a lot of money anymore. After a while of asking and trying to get around the city I realised it was impossible from this position so I found someone who drove into the center of the city and there I started talking with people on the street for a sleeping place, tried some couchsurfing but that didn't work out and because it's a city there is not really a place to put my tent... But it was so hot I could sleep outside or in a church I thaught. After some time of asking in the street I heard someone shouting " Waiting for your friends ?" , it was a guy who saw me standing for there for a long time and I told him the situation and he said I could sleep there for the night!

Than is when I met Dany, the Dr. Pepper fan (‐^▽^‐), and we went walking at the evening in Budapest. I slept there for one night, the next day I got to know Kata, a girl in the same building who I talked to in the street and she said she had a room in spare so I moved upstairs in the same building.

I spend another 2 nights in Budapest, did some sightseeing and got to know the nightlife with Dany. The day after I got a ride out of the city with 'blablacar', some app that I heard of during my trip, and I could ride out the city and decided to go the Austria in stead of Croatia. There I got a couple of rides and got fast in Austria and arrived in Linz. Just before Linz I got a ride from a couple, french and Polish street artists who were going to perform in Linz. I got a ride with them and we spend some of days together. They had a minivan and was cool to see how they lived and performed! Hereafter I didn't know exactly what to do, but I wanted to go back to the nature.
